The video we produced for Mango – an NGO recruitment service - is now also live on their front page:

We recently completed two more films for the RHS including a staff induction video and a fundraising edit.

Born to Walk Tall

Outside number 10 on monday waiting for Samantha Cameron and members of the British Fashion Council to appear for a press call. Save the Children have teamed up with Grazia to promote the ‘No Child Born to Die’ campaign. It’s a strange mix of fashion designers, models and staff from Save the Children, the footage is all a bit rushed and frantic but it was good to see how moved the designers were by the stories they heard from the Nigerian health worker.

A new lens

Back from Ghana after trip with Sightsavers to film child and adult cataract cases. Really impressed by their work in Ghana and amazed how much Ghana has progressed in the 5-6 years since I was last there.

Hoping we can use the footage from this trip for one of the next Sightsavers appeal ads. Here’s one we did for them earlier in the year.

Trailwalker and Ghana

Off to film Trailwalker at the weekend, the 100km walk accross the South Downs. One year I will walk it but I say that every year! Heres the film from last year:

Straight after that I am flying off to Ghana with Sightsavers to film childhood cataract cases. I first visited Ghana with Oxfam about 12 years ago working with Des Coleman who, back then, was then ‘Lenny’ from Eastenders. We made a film about Fair Trade cocoa farming for schools Des was great to work with and in true travelogue style we got him doing things like trying the local food – in this case field rat stew.

Glastonbury

Mud, rain, more mud, sunshine

I hadn’t been to Glastonbury for a few years, so it was good to get invited by Oxfam to film there involvement at Glastonbury. Despite the mud and rain, still a great place to be. Much more civilised than when I used to go as a student, as you have to have to be pretty organised to get a ticket, so it’s full of organised people. Managed to film the whole thing on the DSLR kit which meant I could do some photography for the shops to promote the glasto fashions they sell on site.
